Architectural Design Review (for Home Renovations/New Build)
An important process here at Admirals Cove is the Architectural Design Review which is required to make improvements on your existing home or to new builds. The ADR committee is essential in maintaining building integrity and the highest community standards within Admirals Cove. Five architects are responsible for reviewing any changes to the exterior appearance of your residence. Our ADR coordinator renders extensive services and will help you through the overall process.
New construction, major renovations, landscape projects, hardscape projects, roofing, window installations, hurricane shutter, pool renovations, or any other exterior aesthetic changes, MUST BE reviewed by the ADR Committee.
Interior remodels in a condominium will need ADR review. For example, plumbing changes as part of kitchen, bathroom, or laundry room renovations along with electrical, flooring, changing of walls or structural components, concrete cuts, replacement of windows or sliding glass doors, must be reviewed by the ADR. Modification to the exterior of a condominium is not permitted. When in doubt, call us to determine if ADR approval is required.
The Association employs construction site coordinators to monitor deliveries and ensure ongoing projects have the least impact on our owners quality of life.
